Brian is an extremely responsive and communicative host. The space was clean, and like the pictures, however there were some major maintenance concerns. First, three of the electrical outlets were falling out of the wall, leaving exposed electrical wires. I was shocked by the one in the bathroom. Second, the window locking mechanism was totally broken, making it impossible to close the space. Brian came over, and gave us a chain to lock our belongings in the closet with a padlock, but the closet door was coming unattached from the wall on one of the sides. He said he didn’t know about these concerns, and was visibly frustrated. I understand that the neighborhood is safe, but I also understand that crimes of opportunity happen when there is an opportunity. I can’t comfortably leave my belongings unlocked, or pay for a stay with major maintenance concerns. We canceled our reservation and are pursuing a refund through Airbnb because safety is a non-negotiable for me.

El lugar es hermoso, muy tranquilo. Rodeado de arboles y naturaleza. El estudio es muy amplio y comodo, fue todo perfecto. Brian es un gran host, atento, muy amable y dispuesto a ayudar. Me encanto quedarme 🙂

Merci Brian pour ton accueil et pour la location de ta maison. Peut être faudrait il changer les matelas pour un meilleur couchage. L’emplacement et la maison très sympathique, l’accès à la plage très bien

Great location for surfers. Brian was super helpful during our stay as well.
