We had a great stay. The shepherd’s hut was cosy, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The pub on site is super friendly with great food-we had everything we needed for a February getaway.

Fabulous stay! A beautiful spot with stunning scenery. Perfect location, right on the public footpath for the Old Man. Friendly staff in the pub made the arrival very straightforward. The hut was lovely, had everything as advertised and was very clean and well-presented. The hot tub had been filled for us and warmed up in 4 hours or so, as we followed the advice to push the logs right to the back (essential!). The weather was typically changeable and chilly, with a lot of wind, but we felt very warm and cozy in the hut. We had a clear day for the walk and a clear night, so even managed some star gazing from the tub! There was one negative incident when a bag of logs that we’d brought from home went missing, but the friendly staff at the pub replaced it for us. Altogether, a fabulous stay.
