We chose Sand Star for peace and quiet, water access, and how cute the house was. It delivered on all! You feel like you’re in a private oasis while staying here, but are a quick walk away from tasty food and drinks at Sand Bar. We explored both islands by golf cart, kayaked and paddle boarded, and cooked dinner outside on the grill. One thing to note, the biting bugs are voracious at least during our stay, so we enjoyed the inside of the cottage during the evenings. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a quiet get away with amazing views!

Perfect location if you genuinely want to get away from it all. Spanish Wells is tiny, friendly and quiet, with several gorgeous beaches. The house is at almost the furthest point from the ferry and water taxi arrivals, and other than the YUMMY Sandbar restaurant across the street, is not near anything other than the ocean and a few other houses. We were very comfortable in the house. Everything is immaculately clean, you have what you need for daily life and the ocean is just outside the front door. Do bring good water shoes, as the walk to the water is a bit rocky (it's coral and not sand)--but if you forget, there are some in the house in various sizes, another thoughtful touch. We would absolutely stay there again or recommend it to friends and family.

Very well equipped house in a beautiful setting. Alicia was very responsive and organized everything from taxi & ferry & golf cart to groceries, to reminders to bring cash to the island. Everything was comfortable and clean. Once in a lifetime stay in Spanish Wells!

Alicia’s place is a real gem. Candida, the property manager, organised our transport and met us at the dock — the whole experience of our stay was wonderful. The wifi connection was great and all the kayaks and such were as described. We had a great time and would go back in a heartbeat.
