Kilema Paradise was a home away from home for me even though I have travelled from such a faraway place (Hawaii). Barnabas has created an eco garden paradise that is friendly, welcoming and peaceful. The other guests I met were v cool and fun. Allen’s meals are so healthy and restorative, best way to eat! I came here after safari camping (2 wks) then trekking Kilimanjaro so I was quite exhausted. My 5 day stay gave me the recovery I needed. With some help from the trekking company I took a dala dala then a taxi to Kilema and thus was able to save some money and have a v cool cultural experience! Walking on the property is a great lesson in sustainable land management, walk to the waterfalls is beautiful and into the village market was great. I needed some clothes items repaired so Barnabas took me to the local tailor. My stay was so wonderful, I was sad to leave. Enjoy!

An diesem paradiesischen Fleckchen Erde betreibt Barnabas seine wunderschöne Farm. Dort bleiben keine Wünsche offen…selbstangebautes Obst, Gemüse und Kaffee, Blick auf die wunderschöne grüne Natur, den Kilimanjaro, „eigene“ Wasserfälle vor der Haustür und am Morgen hört man den Gesang der hornbills. Das selbst zubereitete Essen von Gabriel und Ruth war sehr lecker. Barnabas ist ein sehr herzlicher Mensch, der uns sein Paradies persönlich gezeigt hat. Asante sana! Wir würden immer wiederkommen.

Truly a place of serenity, I will be back! I had opted for the private transportation and at pick up immediately felt like I was with family. Once arriving to Kilema Paradise, Barnabas greeted me and ensured I had everything I need. I went on a tour of his land and a nice walk to the waterfalls. Once returning, I rested peacefully before a yummy home cooked dinner by Mary. Mary and Barnabas are amazing to talk to and very welcoming! Place is exactly how described in photos and description. I would highly recommend for a peaceful getaway.

We had a perfect getaway at Kilema Paradise. Mr Barnabas was an amazing host. We felt immediately at home. The view is stunning and we could have asked for more. We absolutely enjoyed our stay!

Great experience. The location is perfect, surrounded by tropical vegatation and fantastic views from the terrace. A place to come back. Barnabas is a great host with endless useful information. A place to come back and relax.
