We have just returned from a very enjoyable stay at The Stable flat. We loved waking up to peaceful setting, even some snow today, able to walk around the estate with the dog on her lead. Accommodation was very cosy and very well equipped, we lit the fire each evening and watched Netflix. Beds very comfortable and rooms were wonderful. Kitchen very well equipped and clean. Will definitely return and highly recommend. We travelled into Edinburgh each day (25 minutes or so) and it was lovely to return to the tranquility and calm setting of Newhall each evening at the end of a busy and fun packed day.

Had a great stay with our toddler and 4-year old. The surroundings are stunning and we enjoyed the wild raspberries! Beautiful walks exploring the grounds. The space was lovely although dining was a bit of a squeeze. Would love to come back at some point.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Stable Flat. The place was spotlessly clean on arrival and felt homely & welcoming. The surrounding estate is breath taking, especially the walled gardens which were beautifully kept & a joy to wander around. Just wish the weather had been a little drier so that we'd had the chance to explore more! Location is also ideal for day trips in to Edinburgh, we parked on the outskirts & used the local bus service. Some lovely beaches also, Aberlady & Gullane just over half hour drive away. Huge thanks to everyone at Newhall for making our stay so enjoyable.
