Burgau and Claudia’s place are both a gem!! Very cute village but it had plenty of good restaurants. Cláudia’s place has a beautiful backyard with many lounging areas and is just a short walk down to the beach. There’s a fun little beach bar on your way! Cláudia greeted us and had an amazing fruit platter to welcome us. We spent the weekend watching surfers, eating good food and relaxing on the beach. Perfect!

We had a wonderful week in Claudia’s apartment and fell in love with Burgau! The apartment itself is full of character, beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean with everything we needed. Absolutely gorgeous garden with views across to the sea, a great spot for morning coffee. The perfect position with everything easily walkable, beach, cafes and restaurants. We had a very lazy week spent mostly on the beautiful beach chilling but the area is great for walking and exploring, we spent a day in Lagos which is a 15 min drive away and a bustling pretty town. We will definitely return, everyone is really friendly and welcoming and Claudia is a brilliant host and lovely lady who helped make our stay just perfect.

If you want a place away from the big tourist towns Burgau is the ideal coastal town. Claudia's apartment is right on the beach and located in the center of the town. It is very close to restaurants and shops. The communial garden and veranda were very nice for a cup of coffee or wine. Claudia is a super host and we were treated with fresh fruit, coffee, cookies etc upon our arrival.
