Such a cozy spot! We couldn’t have picked a better place to spend our wedding night!
The place was very nice and wonderful. Very cute and cozy, the perfect place for a getaway! The host was very helpful with flexibility, communication, and even let us check out late! Everything was clean and it had everything we needed. 10/10, would go again!
Shea’s place was beautiful and perfect for a needed getaway! She thought through the details and had everything we could have needed in addition to extra touches like s’mores materials, firewood, etc. The bed was comfy and place was as pictured! Beautiful surroundings and peaceful. Definitely go with the glamping spirit in mind- there are a few bugs and the mark of being outdoors but great experience with this expectation in mind. So wonderful!
This tiny cabin was perfect for our one night getaway! Only a couple hours from Dallas this lovely space is private with beautiful surroundings, there is only another tiny cabin at the entrance of the property and this one towards the end far enough from each other and with no other houses around them we really got to enjoy the scenery and the creek that passes by. Lucky for us we went on a rainy day and by the time we got there the rain had stopped and the creek was flowing all night, it was nice to just sit out and relax by the fire then grill some dinner. Inside we had everything we needed and the bed was very comfortable even though it’s only a full size we had a great night sleep. I really loved the big windows specially waking up in the morning it felt like we were outside with nature then opened them to hear the birds while still in bed with a coffee. Absolutely adorable! We will definitely be coming back! Special thanks to Shea for being a great host!
My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. The peaceful, country ambiance was so nice! The host had great recommendations for dinner in Hico, we chose The Chop House, and it was fantastic! We definitely would like to return to this beautiful property again in the future!

Livin’ the country life is THE BEST! After teaching for ten years, I’m now enjoying every moment of my dream job...being a stay at home mom. I have a daughter that attends Texas A&M (WHOOP!) and twin six-year old boys that just started Kindergarten. It's a fun adventure! I’m married to one incredible man that provides a wonderful life for us. If we aren’t cheering on the kids in their activities, we are working on one of the many projects we have going on, hanging out with friends or at church.
