The lodge is the perfect location if you need to get up early to begin your hike on the AT.

We enjoyed our stay very much and the location was great. It's an older resort so some sprucing up of rooms would be my only suggestion. Rooms were very clean tho and tidy. Everyone was very polite, helpful and pleasure to be around. Having a restaurant and other amenities on site was great!

Great place of the beaten path. Room was clean and comfy. We enjoyed the yummy breakfast and beautiful grounds. Would stay here again! Dinner at the restaurant was a bit pricy so prob wouldn’t do that again. We enjoyed hiking nearby mountains and shopping in Dahlonega as well as the Etowah Meadery.
