The cottage was better than expected from the photos. It's lovely, comfortable, very spacious and private. Best suited to people who want to be in a convenient location but not in the middle of town. Definitely need to be a driver to get there, or get a taxi from nearby towns. Local walks, a little shop close by for essentials. Emma was responsive, gave clear instructions which meant finding the cottage was really easy and was very friendly and welcoming. I really enjoyed my stay and would be more than happy to book again or recommend to others. Thank you for a great stay, Emma!

Loved it here! We stayed for 2 months in the winter between houses during our home move. The photos on the advert undersell this airbnb and we recommend getting new wider angle photos taken. It’s much larger with high ceilings and well kept, the hallway is a good space which we were allowed to store some furniture which really helped us. The airbnb is an annex off the hosts large and beautiful house with a share of their huge garden which is really well kept and full of wildlife. Living anywhere for a while would highlight some bits which need some love and if there was anything we could recommend to make the stay better, the hot water tank could be larger and we recommend leaving 30mins between peoples showers, the kitchen appliances are dated and a bit hit and miss. We loved living here and we had an easy life for 2 months, it was clear Emma and Stuart wanted to give us our own space but were quick to respond if needed. We would recommend staying here. Very spacious annexe, great layout, with wonderful welcome pack from Emma and lots of small touches like soaps, shampoo, washing up liquid, plenty of toilet roll. Very comfortable bed with good pillows and linen. Lots of storage for clothing. All you need in the kitchen too and all nice and clean. Emma was a very good host, prepared to help where she could but gave us the privacy we wanted for our weekend. We would recommend her to anyone wanting a peaceful weekend hideaway that has a couple of decent pubs not too far away!
