We absolutely loved this house and location! The house was exactly as described, and the property included a great view of and access to the cove. The seating area tucked away above the rocks was a bonus. The house, including the extensive library, had absolutely everything. It felt cozy and yet was spacious. We were able to do a lot of cooking, with lots of room and utensils, etc available. We only wished we could have stayed another week. We hope to return in the future.

Arnold’s cabin is wonderful in every way. Location is quite private but with easy access to nearby towns and the Schoodic peninsula. The cabin itself is lovely with natural light pouring in and there are many small design details that are both charming and functional. We especially loved the bookshelves (and books!). We were unlucky with the weather for most of our stay so it is all the more a testament to how cozy and well thought out the cabin is that we still had a wonderful week spent often indoors due to the rain. Last but not least, Arnold was highly responsive to any questions we had over the course of the week. Simply put, we loved the cabin, and are confident you will too :)

All of the previous reviews are spot on. I can rave about this place as much as everyone else. But I think it’s important to know that the whole rocky shore line is not accessible because it’s the property of others (near by neighbors). That’s the main reason we booked a shore line property. But we were able to see a seal and porpoises. It was an incredible site. I would come back and stay again.

We loved our stay at the Cobblestone Beach Cottage. It was a total dream house that checked all of our boxes. The view is beyond gorgeous, the access to the water is amazing and the house itself was extremely comfortable. The only downside is that we had to leave! Other notes: the kitchen is well equipped, the ability to do laundry was much appreciated, the shower has great water pressure and there are tons of extras like more blankets, reading material and Arnold is a very helpful host.

our family of six adults enjoyed this idyllic cabin for one absolutely beautiful week. We loved watching the sunrises every morning in a private nook on the harbor, drinking our coffee, and watching the sea life. The rooms were spacious and accommodating. The house is filled with books and sea views; honestly, I felt like I should have been writing a novel! We rode our bikes at the Schoodic Peninsula (20 min drive), explored Bar Harbor, hiked all over Acadia including the Beehive trail which was terrifying, went whale watching (saw 6 whales), and took a scenic biplane ride over Acadia. The location is quiet and tucked away in the woods on the Harbor. We would definitely stay here again. Great hospitality!
