Maggie is a gem, the barn is a jewel and our time was precious! First off, what a warm welcome. Easy checkin, fantastic communication and honestly the host is an absolute pleasure to deal with. The property is spectacular - great views, easy to get to, convenient to everything. We were extremely sad to to leave. The property is one of a kind and you will not be sorry. If you are on the fence, do it! You don’t get the chance to stay a place like bluestone barn often so take advantage! The local food is great, folks are awesome and breweries / distilleries are fun! Great place in a great town with a great host. Nothing more to ask for!!!

This is a very special place. Large, incredibly quiet, magnificent views, extremely comfortable. The pictures are great, the place better. We met cows, sheep and just a very few people! Maggie is a great host, she answered every question we had (which were simple “where is…”) within minutes and she was so cheerful in her responses. Awesome few days, we just wish we could stay longer!

I don’t know if words can adequately describe the poetic magic of this barn atop the hill. Maggie’s home - for this is indeed a home, and home is how you will feel - is an oasis of mindful moments. From the sprawling open plan of the ground floor with the enormous stone fireplace at the center, the cozy nooks and skylights to the stars, to the claw foot tub bigger than anything you’ve ever seen in the city that’s positioned in its own window overlooking the cow pasture. There is no reason to leave this property once you’ve arrived. There is music in the birds and the frogs, a kitchen just begging to be cooked in, and gigantic pillowy beds that deliver the best night sleep you’ve ever had! I was so full of gratitude for the weekend i shared here with my friends, that it didn’t even seem right to be sad about leaving. It was a fantasy and if you’re lucky enough to catch this place when it’s available you’re in for a life changing Zen experience. Maggie is a maestro of hospitality and definitely knows how to live!
