Second time staying here and just as good as before, if you want a hidden gem in Kathmandu book this place! You won’t be disappointed. Amazing price, location is nice and quiet but not too far away from Thamel (10 minute walk). Strong WiFi, no issues with hot water or water pressure. 10/10. Can’t wait to come back.

The place is away from the chaos of Thamel and in a peaceful private local neighborhood. Everything matches the description and photos, and Shazia and family are super sweet and helpful. The pets are adorable! I would definitely recommend checking out host’s guidebook for amazing recommendations. Walk to Thamel is about 10-15 mins and the neighborhood seemed safe, there’s a school near to house and basic convenience items are accessible.

I highly recommend staying at Shazia’s. Shazia could not do enough & was always there when needed. Such a comfortable bed, I had the best sleeps there. I did a number of tours whilst I was there and it was never any trouble for Shazia to stop & book a taxi for me. Very friendly & welcoming. Such a nice place to come back to at the end of the day.

A lovely quiet place to stay amongst the madness of Katmandu. yet still only a short work to all of the action. I shall be going back before my flight out. Top place and top host 🙂

Shazia and Farhan went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. They were always responsive whenever we needed help. This airbnb is perfect for anyone who craves a good nights sleep situated in a safe and quite local neighborhood. Located 15-20 mins walk away from the busy Thamel neighborhood, other major attractions are also in reach. Thanks for a seamless airbnb experience. We look forward to staying there again for sure.
