This place is absolutely perfect for a comfortable stay in Shillong. The rooms are large and having 4 full bathrooms makes it perfect for a family stay. Marc and his helpers are quick to respond to any needs and were willing to go the extra mile to make us feel at home. I was traveling from the US to Shillong for the first time. This house and the local area were perfect to make a westerner feel comfortable and safe. All the locals speak English and there’s plenty of nice restaurants just a short drive away. I would rate 6 stars if the option was there. We can’t wait to come back and stay again! Thanks, Marc!!!

Marc was responsive and the place is quite big and had good parking space. We parked a Tempo Traveller there and he had accommodation for the Driver as well. The only downside is that the bedrooms are disconnected and the family maybe separated. We had an excellent time and Marc was very helpful. I called him number of times and he cooked for us as well.

Marc is a great human being...very cooperative as he helped us with the places to visit. I loved his place and all the rooms that he offered was very good and perfect for family..but one should have personal vehicle if they want to go out often,as it's a bit far from the hustle bustle of the city...the gesture of him keeping the kitchen packed with maggy bread milk tea cookies etc for all of us everyday was awesome and felt like home..and the young guy Jason was always there for us to help...kudos to the little soul ....it's a bit far from police bazaar (not a walking distance). geysers and kettle that was provided made our life easy as it was very cold during the night...but thanks to Marc as each room has Heater which was functional throughout..the firewood was not there so bonfire wasn't functional.The only thing that we missed was the hot water taps in the wash basin and in kitchen sink area..geyser hot water was available for bath but not for washing hands in wash basin 😔

marc is an excellent host and a pleasure to deal with. the accommodation was very clean and felt like home. marc takes care of his guest like his own.. would recommend this place to all my friends and family
