stunning views, perfect cozy place to stay. Best stay I have had in a while, it was a great escape and will be coming back year. the sweetest couple ever!
Carol has a corner of paradise with lots of vegetation and wildlife. Excellent location motorcycling both on and off road
Without a doubt, this is one of the nicest places we have ever stayed in. The home had more amenities than you could possibly imagine. It was fully equipped, as though you were in your own home. The view was spectacular… Looking out and seeing the deer in the morning was incredible. But more than that it was the attention to detail that showed how extremely thoughtful Carol was in preparing this home. We came with two dogs, and she had laid out food, bowls, towels, to wipe their feet, furniture coverings, so that the dogs could be comfortable… It was really over the top thoughtfulness. The kitchen had everything you could need, couldn’t believe the amount of spices available for cooking. She even had pop, water, and Land O Lakes butter in the refrigerator! Who does that? There was a basket with various chips awaiting us in the event we were hungry upon arrivsl! You can’t go wrong here! They put a lot of thought & planning into this lovely home hosted by such hospitable people.
Carol and David`s place is very welcoming and homy and they are such thoughtful hosts! We stayed in their place with our dog. The place was very well and thoughtfully furnished for our fur baby as well. Carol had left a towel, and two throws to cover the couches, and a linen to cover the bed in case our dog likes to stay in the bed with us. The kitchen is very well supplied too. You can easily bake and cook in the kitchen, with Carol leaving all the spices, and tools, e.g. an air fryer, pots, a small bench top dish wahser, a coffee maker, measuring cups, and all the utensils. They left beverages, coffee, and snacks for us too. We will defiently go back :)
Such great hosts! My kiddos got to meet their dogs (super friendly and playful). At one point my son unplugged the cable box. I messaged Carol and she came right down to fix it! I also had a moment where I couldn’t get in the door, and they were quick to respond. Great experience!

Hi my name is Carol and co-host David moved from CT to WNC July 2019. We are both retired and wanted a change and WNC beckoned to both of us. We found the perfect house with a cozy apartment, that we turned into an Airbnb. There are deer that will be on property at different times. David and I along with our pup Delilah, and cats Callie and Axel absolutely love the area and all it has to offer and we continue to look forward to hosting guests.
