I'm a bit of a joker as I had told my wife that I had rented a small 1 bedroom cabin with a tiny bathroom in the woods and then pretended to be lost as we were approaching Mr. Harlan's home. OMG the look on my wife's face was so precious as she fell in love with this place. Mr. Harlan's place gave us both that heart-warming feeling that you just can't get at other places. Local eateries were nearby especially Walmart as she needed a few things for our trip. The rooms and decor were simply beautiful with amazing things to see. Words can't begin to describe our experience here. We've stayed at other AirBnB's before and none of them provided us with any breakfast. Mr. Harlan not only cooked a great breakfast, but provided some awesome conversation which was very informative too. So if you are ever passing thru this area or need a place to stay while you visit the nearby landmarks then Mr. Harlan has the best place to stay. By the way, VERY QUIET surroundings to enjoy your sleep too. :-)

Harlan was the greatest host! We woke up to the best biscuits east of the Mississippi that I’ve ever had, complete with a full on breakfast like you’ve never seen. Everything was perfect, from the chocolates on the pillow and the fresh cut flowers in our room, to the pristine bed and bath and the great conversations we had over breakfast with his other guests. We booked this last minute, and he was so accommodating and helpful! We will definitely stay here again. If you are looking for true southern hospitality, look no further!
