Steve is a great host and super nice. I think the property is being turned into more of a campground and work is being done. the cabin is at a higher point and in the open so it was pretty windy but not bad. the property is very pretty. there is nowhere around that sells firewood so make sure u bring some (Steve was so nice and helped us with that). there is a coffee pot which I don't think was listed. the water in the shower doesn't stay warm long and it's a little stinky so you might want to bring your own drinking water if you are bothered by that. also the cabin slopes so we actually slept the opposite way in the bed to avoid a headache lol overall great overnight stay on our way down to the Gulf shores!

Beautiful little 2 bed cabin in a great location and tons of great scenery. Small area for cooking, we only used it once for macaroni & cheese and once for eggs, the rest of the weekend we ate over an open fire which was in a contained pit. We seen a bat flying around on the first night. It was beautiful as it came up closer. The second day was even more peaceful as we hiked almost a full day seeing waterfalls, creeks, squirrels etc. Steve was very responsive in answering any questions or assisting in any needs. I will most assuredly be returning!

The place was amazing, the environment… even better. A place for all people that was well suited with the place . Everything that was needed was provided. THE FIRE PIT WAS AWESOME. The isolated location is a must experience for everyone. BE CREATIVE! The land provides everything you may need as far as a fire. We cooked food over the fire pit. I’ll get the knocks out of the way. I’m a clean freak, and have a personal high standard for cleanliness, and the bathroom or toilet wasn’t scrubbed clean. As well as a maroon stain on the living room rug. Otherwise, amazing. Highly recommend all people renting from this place And the people. Steve was also very responsive. Thank you !!

First impressions was “wow this place is beautiful, clean, and has all the amenities we could need and then some!” It felt like a cozy warm cabin in the woods. My wife and I felt safe and secure. We were greeted by the camp staff the next morning who were very helpful, nice, informative, and readily available if needed. Plenty of walking trails with some great views! Steve was a great host with clear, quick, communication.
