The house was great overall and Carol was an excellent and responsive host. I stayed at the house for two nights because i booked the extreme racing experience at the Monticello raceway (which was amazing) and i decided to make a weekend out of it with my wife and in-laws. While the house setup and location was great for the four of us, there were some setbacks: - the internet was very slow and there was no cable tv so we could not stream anything without constant buffering. If anyone was using the internet on their phone, the tv would experience even more buffering issues. We reset the router and still had issues. We ran internet speed tests throughout the weekend and all results came back with "Very Slow" speeds. - several outlets in the living room and the bedroom with 3 beds did not work. - some of the beds do not have box springs that fit the bed frames and my father in law fell through the bed on the first night - Lack of hot water in the shower, but sufficient for the sinks

We had a lovely time staying at Carol's place. The house was clean and beautifully decorated, sat perfectly in front of a peaceful lake, facing east. Loving to cook, we made most use of the wide array of cooking utensils, as well as the gas bbq grill in the Patio. The jacuzzi was great for an after dinner soaking, and the room heating was very adjustable to my partner's cold-fearing constitution. Carol was very helpful and responsive to any questions we had. It was a wonderful experience, would definitely recommend.

The house was very well decorated and the lake front view is worth the price of the stay. We went in the winter, and the place was warm and comfortable. If you plan on cooking - make sure to bring what you need. There were spices, but basics like salt were almost empty. The same with toiletries - bring your own. The showers had almost empty bottles of V05 for provided shampoo and hand soap containers were half full. For the value of the house, the stay was perfect, just pack accordingly. The space was not as equipped as other super host homes.

What a fantastic place! I couldn't have asked for a better Christmas Eve. The location and the setting are perfect. Carol was incredibly helpful and responsive. The house is fully equipped for your vacation, from meal preparation to unwinding and enjoying the lake.
