Phil really is the perfect host! He goes to lengths to make your stay as comfortable as possible with tips on where to go for a hike or making a great breakfast for you in the morning. We had a wonderful time staying in his beautiful home!

We had a great stay! The place was amazing- huge but not maze-like, well-decorated but still comfortable. Phil greeted us and made sure we were well looked after after our long drive (I recommend you try his hot chocolate!) Our room had everything we needed including toothbrushes and toothpaste. The place is set in large grounds and I wish we'd stayed longer to explore everywhere. There was an enclosed area for our dog to sniff around in. Phil's own dog was very well behaved and got on well with ours. Phil was chatty and helpful and gave us a splendid breakfast with warm croissant.

Phil is a wonderful host. He could not have been kinder to us and the house is beautiful. We arrived much later than we had planned because of a tyre blowing out on the motorway and Phil was really caring and kind. He even ordered us a takeaway which was there when we arrived....amazing hospitality. The house is really gorgeous and immaculately clean. There is a separate living room for guests and the bedrooms are huge and beautifully appointed. The beds are very comfortable and the breakfast was lovely. Lots of thought has gone into making this a lovely home and Phil is a great host. Highly recommended. Many thanks, Phil.
