This cottage is an absolute gem! We were 2 families - 4 adults and 4 kids, and it was a perfect place for our stay. Plenty of space, gorgeous sunroom with lake view. Lots of activities - row boat, pedal boat , SUP, canoe. Kids enjoyed swimming, playing in sand, hanging out on a floating platform in the lake. Cottage is equipped with all possible tings you’ll need, even small ones like marshmallow roasting sticks or kitchen spices. Had a playpen for baby, and blackout curtains for nap. We enjoyed our weekend a lot, and kids loved it.

We just had the most wonderful week staying at Daphne’s cottage - it was a family reunion with three generations including 4 kids, and both the house and Shadow lakefront setting were absolutely perfect. The house is comfortable and characterful and was well equipped with everything we could need. The location is peaceful and stunning - right on the water, it feels remote but it was just a couple of hours drive from Toronto airport. We mostly spent our days enjoying being on the water; swimming, hanging out on the deck, taking the boats and paddle boards out and the kids loved splashing around in the shallows. We were amazed by how beautifully quiet the lake was, with very few boats out even in the height of summer. Overall we loved our stay and would very highly recommend it - Daphne was a great host and I can’t imagine a better lake cottage experience!

Great cottage stay. Water was warm, location was peaceful. The kids had a small area to play in the sand which they really enjoyed. Cottage had everything you would need, spacious, beautiful views and the kitchen even came with modern appliances.

It was an ideal setting for a relaxing getaway and the property exceeded our expectations in every way. Upon arrival, we were immediately taken with the cleanliness of the cottage. It was evident that maintaining high standards was a priority for the host, which we appreciated greatly. The furniture was tasteful, comfortable, and functional, adding to the cottage's cozy atmosphere. The kitchen was sufficiently equipped, and we had no trouble preparing meals during our stay. We slept well in the comfortable bed, and the bathroom was clean and well-maintained. The overall comfort and amenities provided in this cottage contributed to a hassle-free and enjoyable stay. The location is truly remarkable. The cottage is set on a peaceful lake, offering privacy and tranquility that is hard to find. The view of the lake from the cottage was breath-taking and made our stay feel special and unique.

Beautiful cottage, in the most beautiful location! So quiet and peaceful, and the cottage is cozy and has absolutely everything you could ever need. We loved our stay here. The lake views are incredible, and the cottage has big gorgeous windows so you can enjoy the view even in the cooler weather. Beds were very comfortable too!!
