The owner of the property, Caroline, and her husband were extremely helpful during our stay at their Ranch House! We were hit by an insane snow storm while there and Caroline was kind enough to come over to check up on us and provide us with extra supplies that we may have needed as well as allowed us to stay an extra day since the snow equipment for our car failed and left us stranded there! Her husband also came over and provided fresh scones as a friendly gesture to help ease our stress with the unpredictable situation. This type of hospitality is unmatched! The house is also super clean, comfortable, and beautiful! I will definitely be staying here again!

Great place for family and friends. We loved the time we spend at the place and on the patio with BBQ. It was great that they had another Pack & Play. Only plan a bit more time for the check-in. We had a line at the check-in place which ate a bit time of our day!

The house was lovely and quiet in a semi rural setting, which is what my family wanted for this trip. The way back and forth to Yosemite valley was scenic and enjoyable. We were also close enough to Mariposa with grocery store and restaurants. The wifi was strong enough for my partner to work virtually from home everyday. And AC and fans provided relief during a heat wave in the area. The check in and check out were easy and quick. I think Douglas also owns the Yosemite Bug Mountain Resort, a property about 8.5 miles away, where we checked in and where we could call with any questions. The response was always very timely. The only issue I want to point out is that the house uses well water so they asked us to limit our showers to below 5 minutes. We also stayed mindful of water use while doing dishes or laundry. Suppose that is always good practice no matter what!

Great place to get away and disconnect. close enough to Yosemite and Mariposa to enjoy the best of both worlds!
