Bring yourself, your clothes, your food and that's it! Anything you could want in the kitchen is there including a cabinet of spices and condiments to rival a supermarket! The appliances are top of the line--icemaker fridge, huge gas stove, microwave, toaster AND toaster oven, and huge washer and dryer. The thickest and fluffiest towels. Don't bring a hair dryer--there is one. A huge deck and all kinds of outdoor chairs etc. Books and games and magazines and cards. As I said--everything you could imagine is there and if in doubt, ask Leslie before you go. Pilot is a dog who, if you want him to be, becomes your pet away from home--I loved him. The view is wonderful and though the house where Leslie, Gordon and Pilot live is right there your windows don't face it and the family is non-intrusive. I felt alone and private and on retreat. It was restorative, restful and serene. We felt as though we were at our own cottage by the sea. It was glorious!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Cottage by the Sea. The cottage itself is so charming and you couldn’t want for anything, the place was extremely well stocked! The gas stove was a delight as we weathered a nasty coastal storm. All in all, we had a romantic relaxing getaway and looking forward to returning in warmer weather. Pilot was a joy , we only wish that the weather was better so our pup and Pilot could play outside. Our hosts, Leslie and Gordon, were very accommodating even though we hardly saw them. I want to thank them for sharing their beautiful home and property with the world!! We highly recommend this property and its hosts and we are planning on returning, which says everything!!!

Leslie is an excellent host! she's very communicative and made sure my stay was comfortable. The cottage was so homey and clean. And the view of the sea was so peaceful. I had a well rested worry free vacation.

I loved staying in Leslie's cozy home. We even had a brief visit by Pilot, the family dog. This lovely spot was the perfect location for me to rest and recharge during my spring break from graduate school. I got to read non-school books, look out at the pretty view, and generally be lazy. So appreciated. And Leslie and her husband Gordon kindly treated me to some freshly-caught scallops. You'll love this sweet little home.

Leslie was an extremely flexible and communicative host. Our trip was very last minute but she took it all in stride. The cottage is in a very scenic location and was the perfect spot for us to both recharge and explore the surrounding area. -Darren
