This cozy lakefront cabin on the east side of Lake Morey features 3 levels of decking, a wrap-around screened-in porch, a floating dock, 3 kayaks, and a paddleboard. A full kitchen, 2 dining tables, and washer/dryer will make your stay comfortable. The Swimming Hole is a great place to enjoy sunsets, swimming, campfires, grilling, and kayaking with family and friends. With Morey Mountain trails across the street and Fairlee Town Forest across the lake, there is plenty to do on water and land. The Swimming Hole is almost 100 years old but has most modern amenities you might expect today. We think you will have a great time at our "old school cool" cabin.

Great long weekend trip! House and location match the photos. Come ready to fish! We caught tons of fish right from the house’s dock. Paddle board and kayak were great, but also strongly recommend bringing your own boat or renting one from the local marine. The lake is beautiful, as is the house, and it’s well equipped with all the amenities. James was a wonderful host from the initial booking through checkout. Would definitely stay here again!
this place is exactly what it looks like. A beautiful loved lake house. my family had a wonderful time watching the sunsets, swimming in the clean lake and playing games at night. thank you for allowing us into your home.

We had a great stay and loved the place! The decks, screened in porch, and dock were all perfect to chill out on and enjoy the lake. Jim was very helpful and responsive. We would definitely stay there again!

Summer camps, cottages, and houses line this sometimes busy, sometimes quiet lake. Weekends often have more boat traffic while weekdays can be more serine.
Roadside parking is marked with small red flags. The Lake Morey Resort (about 1 mile to the south) rents bikes and other exercise equipment if you are so inclined.
