Song of the Sea is an attractive villas nestled into the slopes of Long Bay, West End. The stunning views encompass Jost Van Dyke and smaller islands and the development is surrounded by bright, tropical landscaping and bordered by the mile long white sand beach.....you're just a few minutes walk from the sand and turquoise water and a couple of beachfront restaurants. Song of the Sea offers 2 suites which can be connected by internal stairs for families and friends. This listing is for the Penthouse unit upstairs, it has an open studio-style layout with a high vaulted ceiling and lots of sunlight. There's plenty of space with a king-size bed, 2 comfortable lounge chairs, a small workspace, AC and cable TV and hi-speed WIFI. The small kitchen is fully equipped with cooktop, coffee-maker, blender, toaster oven and refrigerator. The bathroom is very spacious and offers a large shower and a dressing area with dresser and hanging closet. Large sliding glass doors open to the covered deck complete with a teak table and chairs looking out to the pretty ocean views. Excellent spot for a visit to Tortola! Sam and his team made it super easy to navigate our time there and we’re always very responsive if we had any questions. This particular unit is close enough to the resort to walk, but I do recommend renting a car to get around. Gorgeous views and a clean unit made this an excellent stay!

The Villa penthouse was the perfect place for a private vacation. Sharlene, Pinky, and Louisa were very helpful in guiding us to the villa’s location (very easy once settled in). They had the penthouse cleaned and ready for us even though we arrived a couple hours before check in time. The penthouse is exactly as described and really felt like home during our stay. Gorgeous views, beach right down a short hill, and two wonderful restaurants on the same beach, 20 ft from the water. Long Bay, where Song of the Sea is located, is only 20 minutes from Road Town. Very easy to get around Tortola, West End and Road Town ports. We will definitely stay here or any other villas Sam provides on Tortola again!

Positioned between two famous beaches, Long Bay is in itself a treasure - with a mile of soft, white sand that's lined by swaying palms and shady sea-grape trees, there's a quiet spot for everyone - on a calm day snorkel out to Pelican Point; when the swell is up body-surf or boogie-board the waves to the shore; venture along Nature Boy's trail through the sea-grape tress to Belmont Salt pond where you may even be lucky enough to see a flamingo! or simply walk off some of those frozen drinks!
Smugglers Cove is the next bay to the west - famed for it's amazing snorkelling and tranquil shore, it may no longer be a secret but it is "off the beaten track" enough that it remains pretty uncrowded. Grab a drink there at Nigel's beach bar. Just over the hill to the east is Apple Bay, a top destination for well-travelled surfers and you will find Sebastian's on the Beach for food and drinks.
