What a wonderful find. So much so I hardly want to share it ! Fantastic location, central to lots of attractions / walks / places to visit from 15 mins to several hours away. Beautiful views. We were the only ones there for first few days and it was great to enjoy the peace and quiet. No nearby busy roads, just birdsong and wind, watching the clouds and mist form and disappear. No long list of things to do / not do from the owner, as some hosts on AirBNB seem to like leaving for their guests. A communicative, friendly host, on hand if needed, but happy to leave us to it, which was appreciated - exactly the break we wanted. Absolutely loved staying here and hope to be back in the near future.

we had an amazing stay at the Stable Cottage. The cottage itself was lovely; cozy, comfortable and with everything we needed. The view from the cottage was stunning, and it was so peaceful and quiet. I would highly recommend!

We've just returned after a lovely bank holiday weekend here. The views from the cottages are absolutely beautiful - even on the rainy days! Absolutely loved watching the lambs in the field, the multitude of birds around the property and we also had a baby rabbit right outside the door. We walked to the Twice Brewed pub - there are public footpaths through the fields if you want to take scenic route or you can follow the road. Had the weather been better we would've done more walking as there are plenty of routes nearby. Short drive to Allen Banks and Staward Gorge - and it was lovely to return to the cosy cottage to celebrate our engagement! Cottage had everything we needed and we would definitely stay again. Thank you!

A lovely cottage in beautiful surroundings. We had a brilliant few days staying here with our dog. The cottage is very clean and has everything you need. The milk in the fridge and tea bags/coffee sachets are a nice touch! The cottage is in a very rural location, so you need to be prepared to walk or drive, but this is to be expected if you want to have the stunning, uninterrupted views and tranquil setting. We’d definitely stay here again. Thank you!
