Very cute and so cozy, everything very clean, and overall very functional--had everything we needed for a long Oct. weekend. Keyless entry is genius. This property being so affordable and pet friendly makes up for a less picturesque location and a bit more traffic noise. Hosts are very responsive. We didn't have great weather, so weren't able to take advantage of cute yard or beach, but we explored the 'hood with the golf cart and took it downtown when it was raining (roll-down sides kept us warm and protected!). If you're looking for luxury linens and a prime picturesque location, you might be disappointed, but we were more than happy with this spot and would book it again without hesitation. There is a fairly substantial staircase to navigate if that's an issue, and one room has sloped ceilings and a step down. Again, not an issue for us; added to the charm. All of the many (new) windows open easily, good curtains for privacy, kitchen well stocked. Highly recommend!

Perfect place to work "from home" away from home. The apartment was surprisingly quiet, amazingly clean, and seemed bigger in person than in pictures. Deb was great with communication before and during my stay. Great location for walks to the lake or to the downtown area for shopping and eating. The kitchen was well equipped; I cooked in more than I ate out. Wonderful first extended stay experience; I hope to return!

This was my 4th year staying at The Beach Bum! Deb is always so welcoming. Her place is clean and cozy! The 2 bedrooms, kitchen and living room make it a great place to escape and relax. It is a easy walk to town or the beach! I will Definitely be back! Thank you, Deb!

Best deal ever! Super responsive and helpful. Easy to get to town and beaches with golf cart. They even filled my tire with air because it looked low. Great place!
