Despite being unwell, Patsie looked after us like we were royalty! Fresh flowers in the bedrooms, home baked cheese scones very tasty (asked for recipe and was given it), big comfortable beds, comfy sofas, clean everywhere, interesting artefacts, plenty of equipment to use and, one of the guests being a librarian, spoilt for choice of books! A couple of things went wrong which were not the fault of Patsie, just the joys of a very old building with character, but Tom, Patsie’s friend, came to our rescue and potential disasters were rapidly averted! The village was beautiful and the locals made us very welcome, especially in the parish church and village corner shop. We will definitely return and recommend others to stay as it is a pretty location with plenty to do in the area if you have a car and the host is really welcoming and helpful. Thank you!

We’ve stayed at Patsie’s apartment several times and love the spaciousness, the location and the VERY comfortable bed. This time we were also blessed with wonderful weather which was an added bonus.

Very comfortable and restful week's stay at Patsie's lovely home. It's an old building but very charming, with lots of interesting bits and bobs and lots of books if you enjoy reading. Very interesting having the post office and sorting office below us. Especially enjoyed time in the beautiful garden and lovely pool, which are lit up at night with fairy lights - very pretty. Nice to have such dark skies and peace at nite to star gaze. Patsie is a most welcoming host and made us feel quite at home. We thoroughly enjoyed the freshly baked scones on our arrival. And appreciated her letting us know what events were on in the village. Our stay was most enjoyed by the whole family, we can't thank Patsie enough.

Patsie is a lovely person, helpful and friendly. Her home is a very old historic building and is a treasure of quirkyness! A wonderful place and an opportunity to stay Somewhere with atmosphere. Super comfy beds and everything you need for a stay and a kind touch made of provisions on arrival. A great mini-break! Would go again ☺️.
