Great house and amazing location. Perfect size for our family. Great kitchen/living area. Neighborhood also great - near ocean and pond with amazing birds! Would definitely come back again!

This house is magical! From the sunrises and sunsets to the costal decor you truly feel like you’re in your own slice of heaven on the south shore! We had 8 adults and 4 dogs and no one ever felt like they couldn’t have their own space. We also cooked a full course thanksgiving dinner in the kitchen and it was equipped with everything we needed and more! The fireplace and fire pit were an added bonus as it was a bit chilly but so easy to warm up by the fire. Places that allow dogs always get an extra star in my book, especially places like Darrin’s where you’d never know there was ever a dog there before your stay! I wish I could have stayed longer (or maybe forever)!

Lovely location with gorgeous water views and close to the beach. First level was great, we loved the fire place and the screened in porch, but “second” floor has ceilings that range from approximately 4-6 feet high, so not really useable for adults. I wish we had known that prior to booking.

The house was in a wonderful location. We enjoyed the backyard view very much. It was also very well stocked with kitchen supplies, towels, and many cooking ingredients as well. They also had plenty of wood for a fire. A couple of the inquiries we had were met with shorter replies, but others were more detailed, overall the communication was good. The only negative was that the upstairs area looked like it had 2 rooms that were shut off by doors on them in the photos, but one was actually in an open space, and the other had very low ceilings, so it was not the best area for 2 adults, they hit their heads on the ceiling several times in the bedroom and bathroom. The area would be great for kids. That, combined with only one bath downstairs and no true master bedroom made sleeping a bit less comfortable than in some places, but we knew the latter things going in. Overall it was a great stay and I would stay there again!

This was our second year renting, and we’re already planning to come back same time next year! The house is perfect for our needs (there were 8 of us). The location couldn’t be more beautiful! Darrin is very responsive if you have any questions or concerns. The water view is calming, and the fireplace is warming. Everything you can ask for!
