Matt was a great host! We loved all the amenities! We loved playing card games and having meals on the screened in porch, while we watched the changing tides! Thank you for your hospitality, Matt!
This is a beautiful home in a stunning location. Accessing the home was super easy. We noticed great care was taken, as it was clean and well-maintained. Built in 1909, Matt has done a beautiful job updating the structure and making it modern and comfortable. Even though the weather did not cooperate for the first two days, we felt there was plenty to do. We did not travel with children, however, there are many board games for the family and even a gate to protect children from going up the stairs. As grandparents - we appreciated seeing those touches. I did struggle a bit with baking as there are no baking pans (loaf pan/pie plate/etc), so we could not create many dishes that required oven cookware. (They do have cookie sheets!) Additionally, due to TSA constraints, we failed to travel with our own shampoo/soaps/conditioners and we were unsuccessful in finding them at the home. We GREATLY enjoyed the home and highly recommend it! Matt is an awesome host!
An absolutely amazing experience. The house is perfect. The views are absolutely stunning. We arrived to a choppy ocean which provided a dramatic backdrop to a thoughtfully laid out living space with ample comfortable seating and the most wonderful porch. The house is the best of both worlds… modern amenities and comfort with the retained charm of an older beach house. Matt could not have been a better host. He was so generous and accommodating. It was very easy to check in and his communication was clear and efficient. I will hopefully get another opportunity to stay at this wonderful home!! Thank you!
The horizon line of the ocean is stunning. It’s the perfect cottage by the sea, regardless of the weather (we were lucky enough to see it all).
