Très belle endroit. Nous avons fait la pêche au filet. Le fils de Silverio nous a très bien accueilli. Il nous a fait découvrir leur culture. Nous avons cuisinier avec eux et nous avons eu la chance de fêter l’anniversaire de sa petite fille. Moment très touchant.

We spent the night in one of Silverio's cabins overlooking the lake as part of a larger backpacking trip around Latin America. On the first day we paid to be collected from our hostel and transfered by taxi and boat to the island, we then spent the rest of the day relaxing and enjoying the beautiful location. On the second day after breakfast Ruben (Silverio's son) took us on a tour of the islands, explained the uros way of life and answered any questions we had in good English. The food on the island was really tasty and the facilities were great. Overall we had a fantastic stay and would recommend.
