Quarry House is about the best outfitted Airbnb we've experienced anywhere in the world. We had a lovely holiday weekend with our kids and their significant others - our son lives nearby so we hope to stay again. The fenced yard was perfect for our pup and the screened porch was perfect for us. The kitchen was wonderful and made it easy to cook a full breakfast that we savored on the porch. We enjoyed stargazing from the yard and being far out in the country (no cell service, but great Wi-Fi). Quarry House is easy to get to, but you can't rely on your GPS due to lack of cell service. Be sure to get explicit turn-by-turn directions before you set out. Then enjoy the incredible peace and quiet!
Perfect rustic country setting! Great back porch and fenced back yard with sunset view and fire pit. While the house is older there are updated bedrooms and baths in one wing. Great location for wineries and not too far from downtown. Will definitely stay again!
Absolutely perfect. We got married at a winery 7 miles away. Was close to Charlottesville but remote at the same time. So private and peaceful. Will go back for our anniversary. Such a unique property!!
First off, such an amazing house and an even better location! Close enough to downtown Charlottesville to take in the town but also very private. If you want privacy, this is the place! Perfectly updated to modern standards. The steam feature in the master bath shower was amazing! The house was fully stocked with anything you could need in the kitchen all the way down to dental floss in the bathroom. An endless supply of firewood was great to keep the living room fire place going to beat the chill of the November nights. My wife and I along with four friends celebrated a birthday and honestly can't wait to go back. Great communication with the renters, easy instructions and directions.
This cottage was perfect, has everything you need for the most incredible quiet trip away! Very close to local wineries and a short drive to Charlottesville. I hope to visit again soon!
