If you are looking for the perfect hide-a-way off the grid, this is it! You are in your own little world in this cabin with plenty of beautiful nature surrounding you. There is a screened-in porch with rocking chairs where you can sit & enjoy your morning coffee or nice evening with your loved ones. At nighttime, you'll be serenaded to sleep on your comfortable king sized bed by the chirping of frogs and other rainforest animals. This place is new and we were some of the first to stay here. Mia has put her heart and hard work into this hide-a-way. There are an abundance of towels, all sizes provided for your use & many other amenities provided. She had a beach bag with towels, snorkeling equipment, map of beaches, sunscreen ready for use. You'll have to endure a pothole infested road but worth it! Mia was very friendly and attentive to our needs! We definitely will come back here to enjoy life again. Best place in the world!

I really enjoyed my stay at Mia's space. The property was gorgeous. It was clear that there was a lot of love and hard work put into it. The place itself was spotless and was decorated tastefully. I had more than enough towels and I enjoyed the huge shower. The water was a bit tricky, but Mia let me know that when she greeted me upon arrival. It vacillates between really hot and cold, but it does stay between the two extremes long enough to get done what you need to. The bed was very comfortable and I enjoyed sleeping with the windows open so I could hear the soothing sounds of the nighttime in the rain forest. This place was a perfect location for both Volcanoes NP and Hilo. The road to get there is quite potholed and I am very glad that I drove out before the sun went down, else I am not sure I would have found it as easily. It is dark out there at night. Once I located the place, it was easy enough to find again after dark.

If you are looking for a remote location, this is it. Beautiful peaceful nature around the airbnb, full of plants, flowers and trees. Maria keeps both garden and apartment in excellent conditions. The apartment is fully equipped, host thought of every details possible such as snorkeling mask, map, amenities, sunscreen etc. we felt very welcomed by the host and she was very open for our feedback if any improvement was necessary. The water temperature in the shower was tricky and had to play with but host advised us that she is already working on the fix. Extremely comfortable bed and mattress.
