A lovely lodge with spacious bedrooms and large living area. It was spotless on arrival and Sarah was responsive to my queries straight away. The area was lovely and peaceful with easy access to many great areas of the lakes so we enjoyed walking in the day and relaxing at the lodge in the evenings

Pond Lodge was great experience for me and my family. We enjoyed the quietness and privacy. Its like living in the middle of wild life jungle. Lots of Rabbits 🐇 to see and red squirrel 😀. The lodge is great with everything you need. The lakes are near by to Derwent water is 30 minutes and to windermere lake around 1 hour. Try the watermill café which is near by the lodge over looking a stream of water. Upon check out we tried to the Cocklakes House Lake District, Penrith CA11 0SG it is a lovely place to enjoy delicious 😋 breakfast and the surroundings are great over the lake. Definitely will stay again the lodge if I come to Cumbria district.

The cabin was lovely! We had loads of space for 5 adults and it was comfortable. It's a very peaceful location, and we loved seeing the wildlife right on our doorstep. The photos don't do it justice, I wouldn't hesitate to stay again
