Step back in time with this 1860's antique style farmhouse. Nestled on a mountainside amidst 65 acres of forest, this home is a truly private and peaceful getaway. Being built in 1999, it gives all the modern amenities and comforts, while all the layout, design, and interior immerse you into an era long past. Sitting up on the ridge side, each room holds breathtaking panoramic views of the valley. The property is complete with a spring fed pond, private hiking trails, and a quaint log cabin. This spacious 3 story home @ 3300 sq ft has 5 sizable bedrooms, and 2.5 bathrooms. The farm kitchen is fully equipped and ready for cooking. The home has all the modern conveniences, including central air conditioning and heating to every room. There are 4 wood burning fireplaces with plenty of split wood to use. The property is such a peaceful, tranquil, and relaxing spot to truly rest and enjoy time with your friends and family. This is a very private, safe and quiet spot--making it the perfect getaway to escape life's busyness. The house is a part of a wedding venue and you will notice mentions of that around the property. This airbnb is strictly for family/friend vacation use, and not to be used for any events — those are booked separately through our venue site.

Had an amazing time for a work trip! We loved the whole house for it offered space for everyone and the surrounding area was beautiful! Would definitely stay again
We had a great stay! The property was beautiful, with plenty of room to walk and see the beautiful views. The house was large enough for our group, and the kitchen was very well stocked with dishes, pans, and utensils. Adam was a great host, and we wouldn't hesitate to stay at Mountain Willow again!
An truly outstanding space that quickly felt like home. Thoughtfully appointed in a way that felt homey and nostalgic with modern touches. Beautiful property that offers great opportunities for outdoor adventure and socializing. Adam was a wonderful and kind host, replying quickly to any questions we had. Would love to stay here again!
Awesome place, we thoroughly enjoyed it. Adam was always available for a quick response and also helped us with any questions we had. We also enjoyed the hiking trail across the property.
If you are looking for privacy and doing some outdoor hikes then this is a perfect place. We hiked on the trail they have on this property, it's steep and bit intense but fun. This is an older property, so don't expect modern comfort. We did have some issues, but Adam was quick to response and resolve our issues.

Knoxville, TN - 2 hr 20 mins
You will need your own car/rental car. There is a gravel driveway that is gradual and fine for any regular car to drive up. There is plenty of free parking next to the house.

I have lived in Chattanooga, TN most all of my life, but love to travel. I've lived in both California and Nepal, for short terms and loved them both. I love mountains and coasts, rivers and forests. I enjoy running, soccer, tennis, snowboarding, scuba and most anything outdoors. I love to learn from others' cultures and way of doing life. While at at home, I help run our family’s wedding venue, Mountain Willow Manor. I enjoy woodworking, home renovation projects, and spending time with family. I was so very lucky to meet Melody, who also grew up in Chattanooga her whole life. We met at the perfect time and now we get to do life together. Both our families live in the area, as well as many life-long friends. This is our home city and we absolutely love everything about it-- the land, the trees, the rivers, the mountains, the outdoor culture, the restaurants, the people and more. We enjoy spending as much time as we can outdoors, hiking, camping, sightseeing, and exploring. We also love being at home, cooking, taking in the sunset, and relaxing by the fire. Just in 2020, we had our first child, a baby boy! We are smitten and in love with the little guy beyond words! We look forward to opening our home to you for your Chattanooga experience.
