Really lovely stay. James had lit a fire for us on arrival and supplied some homemade apple pie! He shared loads of great suggestions on things to do locally, and we thoroughly enjoyed the boat trip as part of our stay.

We had a lovely week in James property in Sept, it’s such a lovely location, private & quite setting. It’s located outside Louisburg which has lovely restaurants & take always. This property is just out of this world & plenty space and more space than can be seen in pictures on website. James is definitely a super host & so helpful and friendly. He dropped us lovely fruit from his garden & offered us free boats trip on his boat. I think this property is out of this world & I would definitely recommended it and we will be back again on holidays. It was brilliant to be able to bring along our lovely golden retriever Sneachta and he was thrilled with the space and used to sit outside the house watching the odd few cars that passed on the road. This location is ideal base to explore Mayo and James was great to recommend places to see. If you are in a doubt book this accommodation you will not regret it stunning house & peaceful tranquil location

Great stay at James’s house. Lovely bright spacious home . Great location very near croagh Patrick & only a short drive to Westport , my 2doggies were also welcome which was a bonus

James is a really friendly host. The house is lovely and so nice to stay in. James had left lots of helpful instructions and suggestions and was very responsive with any queries. There is a real attention to detail - he had lit a fire to welcome us on the first evening and there were flowers picked from his garden on the table. He knows the local area well so is a mine of handy information. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and it is a bonus for us that James is eco conscious with pond, wild gardening and very easy to use recycle system.

Great place to stay, James had made a fire for when we arrive so the place was warm and cosy, we immediately felt at home, the house is very well organised, beds are comfortable, garden looks good, lots of parking spaces, everything was convenient and my whole family was very excited about our stay, many thanks again James!
