All my family met at Rachels house for a 10 night stay over the Christmas period. The house was spacious, spotlessly clean and private. Prior to arriving we were given an earlier check-in option which was great. On arrival at the property the heating was on and the house was cosy and warm. The rayburn was also a nice extra touch in the kitchen making it feel always warm too. Nice size smart tv with a huge selection of dvds. Plenty of room and comfortable seating in the lounge area which also has an open fire with fuel supplied. All bedrooms were spacious and again warm and cosy. Our host Rachel was fantastic, She was always quick to reply and offered any assistance should it have been needed. I cannot recommend this property enough. We had 8 adults, a 2 year child and 2 dogs. All of my family were highly delighted with Rachels property and would definitely recommend this to anyone wishing to stay in this area. My family and I had another great stay at Rachel’s place this October/November. The house was spacious for our group of 9 with everything you could possibly need. The location of Murrisk is great, a short drive from Westport, and more importantly only a 15 minute walk from Campbell’s or Stauntons. I definitely recommend The Tavern for food. Our group really appreciated the late check-out too, thank you Rachel. We’ll see you next year!

Wonderful location just a few minutes drive from Croagh Patrick, the Tavern (delicious seafood!), and 11 minutes from Westport out of the hustle and bustle. Rachel was very responsive and proactive in letting us know about when the property was available and helped us navigate finding the property when we arrived later in the evening. Space is large enough to share across a large property. A good amount of water is provided to start. Water discoloration is a bit alarming at first when you bathe but otherwise you get used to it quickly. After hiking Croagh Patrick, you realize the water looks like it does from the mountains!
