The location in Tropic was a great spot for our group of 6 and 1 dog to spend time as we explore Bryce Canyon National Park and Kodachrome. The description is accurate and the place has a homey lived in feel things are comfortable and well loved, but get the job done. The yard was fenced which was great for our dog, Ella. Unfortunately the water heater went out while we were visiting, the host was very quick to help troubleshoot through phone/text and when that didn't work he had someone over to help out even on a holiday weekend. It was running later that night and the next morning. Unfortunately it while we were out exploring it went out again, but this time we were able to get it running. A little frustrating after being out hiking all day in the snow. Without this problem I would have rated 5/5. If the water heater gets fixed I would return for future visits. As it is a great price near lots of fun outdoor recreational spots.

Awesome location and good value. House was well stocked with a huge yard. Would definitely stay here again!

The location was great for visiting Bryce Canyon. It was a little too chilly to be able to enjoy the outside area but it would have been a nice place to relax and enjoy the outdoors. Some of the doorways are much lower than today’s doorways so tall people be aware. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

We only stayed a few nights on our road trip but having stayed in hotels for the majority of the time, it was so great to stay in this lovely home and to be able to cook and even have a BBQ. It was very comfortable and in beautiful surroundings. Even had deer out back and humming birds in the garden. Very convenient for Bryce Canyon. A great place.

We absolutely loved staying Thomas’s beautiful country home. It was inviting, homey, spacious, and had everything we could need for our 4 nights there. The location was perfect for us since it was so conveniently located for hiking in Bryce Canyon and Kodachrome. The drive to Bryce trail heads were 15-20 minutes away. It was also an easy 1:45 hour drive for hiking Zion as well. After long hiking days, we really enjoyed hanging out on the porch and enjoying the stars. The kitchen was more fully equipped than what we have at home! We enjoy eating in sometimes and we had everything we could have needed to make some yummy meals and a cute outdoor area in which to enjoy it. Thomas was great. Thanks so much for a perfect place to stay for our awesome vacation in Bryce and Zion.
