The houses were as described. There are beds for 10 people at 2 per bed and a pull out couch. There are also extra mattresses under most of the beds. We only had 9 people so it worked great for us. The truck noise from the jake brakes coming down the hill does suck. It's pretty loud in the houses and by the pool. During the night there is very little or no truck traffic and during the day we were mostly at the beach. We felt secure and safe and there is a caretaker that lives on site in a lower apartment that was very nice and helpful.

Alana was wonderful, from providing rides to and from the airport, reserving restaurants and having a birthday cake baked and delivered she went above and beyond. Jose the groundskeeper was very helpful and respected our privacy. LA our concierge was fantastic, very knowledgeable showed us all the hotspots and made our trip a dream. The only negative thing I could say is the noise of the traffic, cars not so bad but the transport trucks are loud. But that did not deter us from having the most wonderful Christmas and Birthday ever. Thanks Alana to you all ❤️

Absolutely loved staying here! Jose was awesome and took good care of us! Allana set up transportation to and from airport and was extremely responsive, before and throughout the trip. The place was very private and it felt like our own little oasis. Hotel Club Del Mar across the street felt like an extra amenity to Casa Mariposa and I highly recommend 99.9% of the food served there! I’ve seen reviews that speak on the noise from the traffic and while it definitely got noisy at times, it didn’t bother me or my guests at all. Don’t know if it would be possible to have had a better time! Book here and you will not be disappointed, unless of course you don’t like a good time! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

It was absolutely amazing! Such a clean place, both houses. A wonderful location right across the street from the beach. Our family of 11 had the time of our lives and we all agreed that we would defiantly come back! The pool was the best part about it because there was plenty of room for all of us to hang out and enjoy each other! Allana was very helpful with questions and getting our transportation set up and the maintenance guy Jose was awesome!!!! The complementary concierge L.A. took care of us and showed us a great time. We had an marriage proposal planned and she helps us arrange it, provided transportation, and took us to the best sea food place...and showed us a night on the town!!!! We can't wait to come back!
