Good little cabin. Host really responsive when we asked a couple of questions. Great location for driving to different places to visit in Northumberland.

Lovely park and excellent setting, really loved the area. The log cabin was nice but we felt it could have done with some maintenance particularly the bathroom shower which was broken and tended to leak. Patrick is a great host however and he helped us out with additional equipment for our young family

lovely place but large amounts of cobwebs above shower and in all rooms. very obvious they had been there a long time. just missing attention to detail, lovely cabin.

Great weekend away, the cabin felt private even though there was others next door. Great having private use of the hot tub

The park we stayed on is lovely with good amenities. The lodge was easy to find. Check in easy too. The lodge itself was ok. Beds comfortable, all the plates, cutlery you would need. Hot tub maintained everyday although since returning we have developed a nasty rash which the GP has said is probably hot tub related. We all showered before and after entering and followed the hot tub rules. The hot tub has hardly any privacy as the path leading round the lake is directly next to it. You can see into other neighbouring hot tubs too. Maybe some sort of screening could help. There is no WIFI for the lodge which would have been useful when planning days out as our mobile phone signal was not great… The children were excited by the ‘space style shower’ however the main part of the shower didn’t work which wasn’t very pleasant! The lodge was okay for a short break it is just in need of some maintenance and those extra touches to make it more comfortable and enjoyable.
