Nous avons contacté Ruben sur airbnb et il nous a accueilli sur son ile avec sa femme Vicky et leurs enfants. Il se peut qu'il mette un peu de temps à répondre car il n'a pas tout le temps internet. Rubben nous a fait visiter les îles en nous expliquant leur construction, son histoire et celle de ses ancêtres. On est allé pêcher avec lui, on a également fait de l'artisanat, les devoirs avec leurs enfants, bref, on a vécu deux jours très chaleureux et authentiques avec eux. Ruben parle un peu anglais mais si vous parlez espagnols vous arriverez d'autant plus à créer un lien avec eux. Je vous conseille d'être proactifs niveau communication avec eux, l'île est géniale pour se reposer et ils laissent volontiers ce temps à disposition. Je ne peux que recommander cette expérience. Le transport du port jusqu'à l'île est de 70sol avec Rubben. Le petit déjeuner est inclus et les autres repas sont 25sol par personne. Vous êtes aussi bien entendu libres

Had an incredible time at Rubens and got to experience many local practices. He shows me around the islands on his boat and we put out fishing nets. His whole family is very welcoming and teaches you a lot about their culture. It was a unique experience and am very thankful they let me in their life. 10/10 recommend

The stay was wonderful. His family is so friendly and welcoming and his wife cooked super delicious trout for us. Rubens also showed us around the islands and talked about his community, which was very interesting. Would definetly recommend this place!!

Ruben and his family are super nice and welcoming. The family went on vacation for a couple of days and Ruben’s sister Yolanda took care of hosting us while Ruben’s brother Luis gave us an informative tour of the islands. Yolanda was a real sweetheart and made us feel very comfortable. We really enjoyed learning about how these islands are built. The island was very peaceful and it was the perfect break in our intense traveling schedule. The only thing we didn’t quite appreciate was that the lunch and dinner had to be purchased from the host (because there is no kitchen available) and the price is not exactly low (S./ 25 per meal per person) and there wasn’t really much variety to choose from (same two options for dinner, one meat and one vegetarian). The food was tasty, nothing to complain, but given that we *had to* pay quite a bit for the meals, a bit more variety would have been appreciated.

What an incredible place! A perfect place to relax and take a break from travelling. We loved the tour of the islands, the delicious food, bedroom with a view and playing with Reuben’s adorable children. Would love to return !
