We had a fantastic time exploring the Island 😊
The pictures simply do not do port hood island any justice. It’s a magical, peaceful little place with rolling hills and beautiful vistas where the neighbours take time to talk. There are 2 beautiful beaches to enjoy and our evening walks were delightful. Agnes house is well stocked with everything you need. It’s cute and cozy and situated perfectly. Agnes is very kind and a great communicator. The neighbours and Dave were also lovely giving our guests a history lesson about port hood island. Thank you again Agnes for allowing us to enjoy a little piece of Paradise
Simply amazing!!! A piece of heaven on Earth, that must be experienced for oneself Agnes went out of her way to accommodate us, and was only a text message away if we needed anything, although we didn’t need much, as her place had everything we could possibly need…a truly breathtaking vacation
What a spot! Can’t wait to go back and spend more time on this island, had so much fun exploring and just reading my book at the cottage. Perfect spot for a relaxing vacation away from the busy world. Agnes was also great at making sure we had what we needed for the weekend!
We had an unforgettable stay on Port Hood Island. What a unique spot. We were transported over and back by friendly local fisherman. We had to adjust our plans a little based on weather conditions, but that's to be expected staying on an island. The house offers incredible views, cosy vibes, and a golf cart for excursions. The weather wasn't great for us, but what a great place to relax, watch a DVD (I'd suggest bringing Jaws along!), and make use of the espresso machine! There's a well equipped kitchen for cooking too! When the weather did clear a little we made a trip to one of the island's beaches and had a quick dip. Beautiful. There's a kayak available, if the weather allows. Maybe next time! Thanks to Agnes for making this remarkable place available and for the great communication leading up to and during our stay.
