Super nice couple. We check-in so late around 10pm because of our tight schedule. Because the location was a bit remote, when we got around the wrong road, we called Jane and she immediately came out to find us and took us back to the residence.   The careful couple prepared the heating for our room in advance, let us feel the warmth of the home from the cold night. Although only one night, Jane provide us a handmade cake, super delicious, especially the chocolate cake.   Although it was late , Jim and Jane were very  enthusiasm they asked us about the next day's itinerary and very warmly guide us. They carefully and patiently explained us how to go see the sunrise next day morning and showed us how to check Google maps and hand-drawn maps. Before going to sleep, considering that we need to dry the clothes, they also specially opened the porch heating.   It is the most recommended accommodation in our 14-day UK, comfortable and warm. 超级无敌好的一对老夫妇，入住当天由于我们的行程过于赶，晚上快10点多才到达，由于地点有点偏远，绕错了路，一个电话Jane马上出来找我们并把我们顺利带回住所。细心的主人提前为我们的房间准备了暖气，让我们从寒冷的夜中感受了家的温暖。虽然只有一晚，Jane还未我们准了她烘烤的蛋糕，超级好吃。虽然已经很晚并打扰了两位主人的休息时间，但Jim和Jane还是热心的询问我们第二天的行程并很温馨的指导我们明天一早去看日出的路该怎么走，细心又耐心的通过Google map和手绘地图为我们讲解了几遍。临睡前，考虑到我们需要晾干衣服，还特地开了门廊的暖气让我们把衣服凉在那里尽快的干。实在太暖心了，是我们此次14天UK中最推荐的一家住宿，舒适、温馨。

We have 2 nights stay with Jane and Jim. They make the two days the most unforgettable and treasured time in our vocation in England. They can't do more to make us feel at home! They provide guest a separated bathroom with a king size bath where you can relax after hiking in Peak district. They not only helped us plan hiking route but gave us a lift to and from the hiking site. Really appreciate their help during our stay! Their house will be my option one when I visit Peak District again in the future. (同英文）我们在Jane家里住了两晚。这两晚是我们在英国最为难忘的时刻。他们给我们提供了一个温馨的家，感受了英国家庭的方方面面。他们为我们提供了独立的浴房还有一个巨大的浴缸，可以在徒步后泡澡放松！他们不仅帮我们计划徒步路线，还带我们去起点和在终点接我们回来！非常感谢他们的帮助，这将是我下次到访峰区的不二选择。

5 Stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Jane and Jim were wonderful as hosts. The place was amazing ,peaceful, clean and had all the amenities required to help feel at home. Jane and Jim were very friendly and helpful and even did make time to have conversations with my wife and my son. I would definitely recommend the place to anyone visiting Peak District area.

My daughter and I spent a wonderful night in Jane's home in Wash, High Peak. We a glorious run on Mam Tor -- albeit icy and windy, but very dramatic -- and enjoyed a cosy evening and morning in this beautiful, homely place. Jane and her husband were the consumate hosts. I would recommend this to everyone and hope to come back again some day.

I had the most wonderful stay with Jane and Jim. Incredibly hospitable and friendly. Jane went above and beyond to help with my complicated arrangements and to make me feel at home. She anticipated everything that I might need, and then some. She very kindly provided pick-ups and drop-offs in circumstances where the alternatives would have been extremely difficult. Lots of local knowledge and suggestions. Their home is lovely, breakfast was great. Comfy bed and fabulous bathroom with wonderful deep bath tub, with lots of hot water. Only negative was the weather but not much anyone could do about that! Can’t recommend the place enough.
