Great for walking onto the South Downs, in particular.

The location of Vicky’s cottage is perfect just far enough away from the busy town of Steyning but quick enough to walk in 0.8 miles. Great independent shops in Steyning and you can get most things you would need for your visit . Vicky communicated very well despite being away herself and responded promptly to any problems . Would be happy to book again great location if you have dogs with you with walks from the door up on to the downs .

The cottage is located beautifully in the Steyning horseshoe with walks from the door and access to the South Downs way. The cottage was impeccably clean which was such a nice welcome having been to previous places not so well cared for. Bed was sizeable and moderately comfortable. It was lovely to hear the owls 🦉 in the trees at night. The drench shower and bath are lush and the oven was superb also! The enclosed courtyard was a safe place for our dog off the lead also. Lovely to be so remote yet in easy 10 mins walk of the pretty town

un gîte bien équipé, au calme et à la campagne avec un accès rapide au village où on trouve tout ce qu'il faut.

An idyllic location that was central for visiting lots of interesting places. The cottage area was peaceful. At night, we could hear owls and on one occasion, saw deer when we walked down the lane. There is an adjoining cottage, so at times can hear sounds from next door, however, this would not put me off staying again. The cottage boundary has fencing so it is safe for your dog to be outside knowing they cannot escape and you can walk around the farm area. The cottage has everything you may need. We visited The Squire and Horse south of Pulborough and the food was excellent. The Rising Sun also served good food as does the one in the village. We hope to visit again in the future.
