We had 4 nights here. It's a cosy and welcoming cottage. You can tell Fiona the host wants you to enjoy your stay and there a so many thoughtful touches. She is very responsive to messages and I am sure she would go out of her way to help should there be a need. Cottage was very clean, good quality bedding and I thought the bed very comfy. Modern bathroom with underfloor heating. As Fiona states it's a small workers cottage and, as such, there are quite a few neighbouring properties but it was peaceful and relaxing and the people in the surrounding cottages that we bumped into and spoke to were friendly and welcoming. Great coffee shops, shops and places to eat within a few minutes walk

I stayed for a whole week at Mill Cottage and enjoyed every minute of it. It's ideal for exploring the beautiful surrounding as well as the perfect home away from home. The village, Steyning, offers grocery shops, charming cafés and a choice of nice restaurants. All within walking distance from Mill Cottage. Highly recommended for any length of stay in the area.

A lovely stay thank you! Low ceilings but we quickly got used to ducking as we moved around! Kitchen stocked with all the basics you need to cook some dinners yourself, and lovely shower and bathroom!

The Cottage is small but quaint and has adequate equipment! Care should be taken on entering front door as pathway/cobblestones are slightly uneven and no outside lighting (which doesn't help)! Bed is very comfy but bathroom underfloor heating is not very warm. The photos of the outside back area are a little misleading for people with dog/s as they can easily escape, if not on a lead, onto pathway/road because it is a shared area and not fenced in!
