Clean and beautiful, but here are the negatives: Mosquitoes outdoors when we arrived; Smell in the bathroom - it appeared to come from the shower drain which in turn would be connected to a septic tank; shower water pressure low and shower faucet is ridiculous in attempting to control the water temperature; wall AC/Heat unit is irritably noisy; washer in a ridiculous place in front of the toilet so that the washer door hits the toilet when trying to open; thanks to Google maps it's not hard to find, but it's a long series of different winding roads.

Randy has a cute little pastoral. The horses were beautiful in the pasture across the creek. We couldn't get down to the creek because of such a steep slope but we could hear and enjoy it from the patio. I had some issues figuring out the door, but Randy helped me via text. He let us check in early and stay a little late and that was very much appreciated!! It is easy to find. The ac did make a bit of a racket so we turned it off at night so we could sleep. The pastoral has a full kitchen which also came in handy. The walkway from the stairs was a little hard to walk on. There were some pretty steep steps to get to the entrance. You could hear a fair bit of the goings on upstairs, but that's to be expected when you are in someone's downstairs apartment. Other than that, we enjoyed ourselves and got rested! Just what we needed.

We had a lovely one night stay at Randys's place. A gorgeous, peaceful setting in easy reach of bustling Asheville.

Found Randy’s listing while planning a little get away and I am so grateful we stopped here. As soon as we walked in, it felt like home. We really appreciated the amenities made available to help us along our way.
