We had a fantastic stay at Chinthaka’s. Very warm and welcoming hosts. The dinner and breakfast were exceptional. It’s a shame we were only there one night!

Chi thanks and his wife were very sweet and accommodating throughout our stay. They prepared our requested meals (which were delicious by the way !) and were helpful whenever we had any questions. They helped us to arrange for our safari and also for our transport. You will notice lots of coconuts drying at the entrance of their home. They run their own coconut oil making business. It smells divine ! Don’t forget to buy yourself a bottle before you leave. Couldn’t recommend this place enough.

A lovely place to stay! The room was very spacious and clean. Our hosts were super friendly and arranged a safari drive for us. The home cooked dinners were very yummy and they also made breakfast for us. They helped us with our onward travel - dropping us off at the bus station and seeing us on to the right bus which was very kind! Loved our stay here :)

Bitte verbringt unbedingt Zeit in dieser wundervollen Unterkunft 🙏!! Wir haben uns sehr spontan entschlossen in Udawalawe einen Stopp einzulegen. Wir wurden herzlichst von Chintaka und seiner Frau empfangen, mit Begrüßungsgetränk und später Tee verköstigt. Sowohl für eine Safari am Nachmittag, als auch für einen Transfer für die Fahrt nach Ella am nächsten Tag. hat Chintaka gesorgt. Das Abendessen und Frühstück war wirklich köstlich!! Die Unterkunft ist sauber wie keine andere und wir wären gerne so viel länger als nur eine Nacht geblieben. Wir haben die Unterkunft mit ihren wundervollen Vermietern ins Herz geschlossen - eine unvergessliche Erfahrung.
