DO NOT STAY HERE IN THE WINTER. My family and I rented this place for Family Day weekend. When we arrived it was freezing cold. It is a 3 season cottage at best. The heat sources are the wood stove (but the place is large), wall heaters or space heaters. One of the wall heaters is burning the wood floor. 3 bedrooms have no heat except for space heaters (which are a fire hazard). There are space heaters hidden in the walls and under the sinks to keep the pipes from freezing. Considering the wood stove is one of the options for keeping the place warm, the host left 6 pieces of wood and about 10 pieces of kindling. The listing also said their was a carbon monoxide detector which there was not (Ali tried to tell me the old smoke detector was the CO monitor). The cleaning fee is very high considering you bring your own sheets and towels. I was very unsatisfied and have also flayed this place for a safety review.

Ali had a wonderful place, it was very nice. We enjoyed our stay and the amenities provided. Especially the sauna, which they provided a bag of wood for us. However, the cleaning fee was unfavourable(210$). There was only 2 of us at their cottage that hosts 8, which we brought to her attention. Then expected to clean it and remove the garbages. Overall it was lovely stay and Ali was always available.

My family had great time staying at Ali's cottage. Wood burning stove added positive moments to our winter gateway. Wood burning cedar sauna was a huge hit. Wish the lake was not frozen - would definitely go for a dip.

Great place to relax! Location was perfect for a wedding that we attended. Cell reception was surprisingly good. Had a great stay!!
