Our lovingly restored 100+ year old homes feature original hardwood flooring, 12-ft tall ceilings and architectural detailing throughout. You'll find soft serta mattresses, beautiful jewel-toned decor, modern amenities in a safe and quiet neighborhood with award winning restaurants and easy access to the city. You will have the whole house to yourself. We provide a coffee pot, coffee, sugar, and creamer You can call or text me for any information you need . I’m only a phone call away and live right next door. All the amenities to cook a gourmet meal in this large kitchen that will seat six. All fresh clean linen and towels and face towels. blankets also will be provided If needed. Back patio and courtyard offers privacy and relaxation. Cathy's place was lovely. The home itself and location truly captured the unique charm of the Bywater, and the amenities were updated and clean. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful but still walkable to some of my favorite spots in the city. Cathy was super responsive and offered tons of great recommendations. I would absolutely stay here again, it really felt like home!
Stay was ok. One of our vehicles got broken into. The home is a shotgun house. No hallways, this was not mentioned in the listing description. We had to go thru both bedrooms to get to the kitchen. Very narrow spiral stairs to get to upper room. On the text message sent to us a few days before the host stated how she did not want us to use the bed sheets or comforters to sleep in and if we did an extra fee would be incurred. This should have been listed on the description of the home when we were looking where to stay. Overall home was nice and well taken care of and this is probably the safest neighborhood near downtown and french quarter. Host was very responsive to all questions leading up to trip.

Located in the heart of Historic Hipster Bywater within walking distance of the French Quarter & Frenchmen St. (Marigny) Don't like to walk use Uber or a taxi will have you to the Quarter in minutes. Plenty of parking spaces by our house. Entrance to the beautiful riverfront Crescent Park is just 3 blocks away. Want to sip some wine & listen to music, Bacchanal is just a few blocks away. Want to sample some praline bacon, The famous Elizabeth's is blocks away. Want to go for a swim, the Country Club has a climate controlled pool & is accessible to anyone for a small fee. Want to sample New Orleans best Pizza, Pizza Delicious is only blocks away. We can’t forget The Joint for some of the best BBQ. Faubourg Wines, our favorite wine store is in the neighborhood & has free wine tastings every Wednesday. Belong to Anytime Fitness, there is one located just around the corner.
The fastest way to from our house and the French Quarter is to follow Charters Street and the Mississippi River. We are only 3 blocks from Charter Street and the Mississippi River and a beautiful walk from the new Crescent Park on the Mississippi River. To view all the historic homes the next route would be to walk or drive down Royal or Burgundy Street.
