The COTTAGE itself was very nice with wonderful rocking chairs on the front porch to enjoy the morning and evening. My only disappointment was that it was located in a busy business area with delivery trucks coming at 5am. almost daily and there was a lot of traffic up and down the hill street along side the house as well as street traffic until late at night. Also a lot of auto traffic from people parking on the street to walk to the business district shops that were right there. There was no view of the Ocean from the Cottage itself but you could hear the Ocean sometimes during the early morning if you were up.

My family very much enjoyed our stay at this attractive, clean and well supplied home. It was in a great location within easy walking distance to the beach and to a variety of restaurants and shops in Newport.

Logement quand même bien équipé et bien situé. Le plus de ce logement est sa proximité de la plage. Nous avons trouvé que les photos étaient plus belles que la réalité. Certains mobiliés sont désuets.

The cottage is 2 blocks from the ocean, and within a couple minutes walk to everything in Nye beach. The home has 3 bedrooms and was enough space for our multigenerational family of 5, although the living room area is quite small. There are beach toys and 2 beach chairs. The kitchen is well equipped, although the dishwasher is portable which is just awkward to work with, so we ended up hand washing everything. The stairs are narrow and steep, but are carpeted and have a good hand rail. The home maintains its historic charm, and has a large modern bathroom upstairs. We felt like it was a good value for the location.

My family had a wonderful time! Everything was very clear before we checked in so it was easy and there were no hiccups. The place is so cute and cozy. Thank you so much for a wonderful weekend!
