One of our favourite places we've stayed at. The kids loved having the space to explore and we loved the beautiful location and lovely accommodation. The host was lovely too.

Excellent quiet break for a few days between Christmas and new year. Very comfortable apartment. Plenty games for kids and nice view across to hills watching the chickens and goats wander about. Sarah's welcome and communication was excellent throughout. Very nice touches with ground coffee, cake, fresh eggs, bread and milk all provided on arrival. Sure there are lots of excellent walks in the surrounding area particularly in the summer time (maybe less so at the time of year we chose!). Marked location down to a 4 purely as we were a little disappointed by Selkirk & Hawick town centre, but would certainly recommend, particularly for anyone who is looking to get outdoors.

I stayed at the barn over Christmas with my partner and two boys. We really enjoyed our stay. Lots of comunication prior to our visit and Sarah was really accomodating and flexible with our check in time. The barn was great. Nice and spacious, great decor, had everything we needed (and more) and it was clean and tidy. She even left us a welcome pack with home baked bread and fresh eggs and some cakes (as well as some xmas goodies) to name but a few! The hosts also provide access to washer and dryer so that was an absolute godsend! There was also loads of DVDs and boardgames which helped keep our boys entertained. We would love to come back to stay here. 5 stars all round.

Gorgeous cozy accommodation, very peaceful and ideal for walking the hills. Waking up to the view of the autumnal colours of the rising sun on the adjacent hills was lovely. The goats with their climbing planks and slide were super cute and the lovely eggs from the chickens and home-made cake and bread/butter & milk on arrival were delicious. We've been several times before and cannot wait to come back again. A true home from home. Thanks for a lovely welcome Sarah.

Excellent place to stay and explore the Scottish Borders. Clean and comfy and Sarah is lovely and friendly. Certainly stay again.
