My sister and I stayed for 2 nights and had the best time. The shepherd's hut is beautifully made and had much more room than we thought it would! Geoff and Janet were so inviting and spoke to us at every opportunity. We got to see lots of their newborn lambs and had fresh eggs from their chickens! The hut and the bathroom were very clean. The location is perfect if you're hiking Kinder Scout and there are lots of other walks close by too. We'll definitely be back, thanks so much for being so welcoming!

The hut and facilities were clean and comfortable. Ideal location right in Hayfield. Hut was well equiped with fridge, dishes and cutlery. Checkin was easy and things were easy to find and clearly labelled. I would definitely stay here again in future.

This is a great spot right at the foot of Kinder Scout - you can see it from the hut window! Hayfield is an amazing little village. Geoff and family are really friendly and welcoming and make sure you have everything you need, the huts are lovely, cosy, really clean and have everything you need. A brilliant stay for us, fabulous location and great hosts. Would book again

Very clean, friendly and peaceful. The perfect place to both relax and explore with it being in such an idyllic location. Geoff and Janet were perfect hosts offering suggestions for visits and making sure we had everything we needed (including homemade cake!). The huts were perfectly comfortable and were equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The bonus was getting to see their gorgeous puppies too! Would definitely recommend and would visit again!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay in the Shepherd's hut. Every little detail was thought about and it made the stay so comfortable and enjoyable. Would definitely recommend this place to others and would love to stay again.
